Physical Examination Center: A Luxurious and High-Tech Medical Clinic

Creating a Unique and Noble Atmosphere Inspired by Streamlined Designs

The physical examination center stands out with its sumptuous and high-tech vibe. The curved walls are designed to soften the overall spatial feel, while the streamlined-designed ceiling in the lobby overlaps with the collage floorings to create hidden lotuses. A laser engraving flower wall adds a sense of movement to the space. On the second floor, arc-shaped walls, the company's lion logo, and mosaic tiles create a ring-like luxury sense. The surgery room is aesthetically designed with asepsis in mind, featuring a map-like curved wall with special foam, laser engraving, and special paints.

The realization of this design involves the use of special resin paint, designed titanium plating plates, laser engraving flowers, marbles, and lamp cords. The parking lot and ballroom floors are coated with special resin paint, creating a painting-like effect. These floors are paired with wear-resistant and anti-slip walls and lightings. The lobby features designed titanium plating plates and a wide laser engraving flower implement. The marble flooring in the lobby is collage-designed, echoing with the curves of the ceiling and co-created shapes of lotus, which are complemented by the river-like cushions and stone-imitated chairs.

With a size of 2725m2 spread across five floors, the physical examination center includes various spaces such as interpretation rooms, a nursing station, VIP rooms, treatment rooms, a surgery room, examination rooms, a consulting room, lockers, a waiting area, a ballroom, a conference room, a parking lot, and more. The center is equipped with complete examination equipment, ensuring smooth traffic flow and a comfortable experience for all visitors.

The design team, consisting of HSU-HSIN CHENG and YI-FEN LIU, focused on creating a space that not only functions seamlessly but also provides a 6-star hotel living experience during the examination process. The structure features complete equipment arrangements, figured stairs, and cozy waiting areas. The visual design of the leading wall and the elevator's interior design contribute to a sense of hotel-feel hospitality. Special attention was given to female customers' privacy and comfort, resulting in personal and cozy designs throughout the space.

The project, located in Neihu District, Taipei City, started in May 2016 and was completed in March 2018. Extensive research was conducted to ensure the independence, privacy, and comfort of female customers. The space also incorporated feng shui elements, with a hand-painted wall shaped like a mountain and a river stream, creating an art gallery-like feeling. The use of stones and veneers in various colors added a collage-like effect to the overall design.

Overcoming challenges such as restoring water pipelines and modifying low beams, the design team successfully created a space that reflects a sense of streamlined and high-tech speed while softening square edges and corners. The curved walls eliminate edges and corners, creating a sense of movement and fluidity throughout the space.

The physical examination center is a symbol of endless stream and ambition. With grand stairs, arc-shaped walls, exquisite ring-shaped designs, and map-like elements, the center exudes a sense of pride and nobility. It provides a complete and fluent traffic flow, ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and visitors.
